A recognized LLB degree (or equivalent) and admission as a legal practitioner in Namibia are usually required; additional qualifications such as an LLM in corporate law or a company secretarial certification can be advantageous. The role involves providing legal advice to management, reviewing and drafting contracts, ensuring compliance with Namibian broadcasting and media legislation, and assisting the Company Secretary with board meeting preparations, minutes, and statutory filings.
