Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate teaching and learning in accordance with CBET principles and HPCNA requirements
- Deliver theoretical and practical modules in Auxiliary Nursing Science
- Supervise and assess clinical practice and workplace-based learning
- Develop lesson plans, study guides, and assessment instruments
- Conduct formative and summative assessments
- Participate in internal moderation and quality assurance processes
- Provide mentorship and academic support to students
- Ensure compliance with HPCNA standards, NQA requirements, and institutional policies
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA)
- Bachelor’s Degree or Comprehensive Diploma In Nursing and Midwifery Science
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience (post-registration)
- Experience in clinical teaching or nursing education (advantageous)
- Sound knowledge of nursing ethics, scope of practice, and Namibian health regulations
- Strong clinical and practical nursing skills
- Ability to integrate theory with bedside practice
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills
- High level of professionalism and ethical conduct
- Strong student supervision and mentorship ability
