MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the PROCUREMENT Industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in foreign countries is a plus
• Experience in Industrial projects
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Excellent computer literacy in MS Office
• Grade 12

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing purchase orders
• Comparing offers, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best potential supplier.
• Preparing & maintaining purchasing files
• Reviewing requisition files to verify accuracy & terminology,
• Contacting suppliers on request of senior PROC officer.
• Tracking the status of RFQ, offers, contracts, and purchase orders.
• Developing the necessary tools to record / update and maintain the data bases for all contracts.
• Providing weekly and monthly reporting to Senior Procurement officer
• Preparing procurement policies, procedures and guidance documents on request of Senior PROC officer.

GENERAL

The above mentioned duties reflect the position’s essential functions but does not contain all of the tasks that will be assigned.

The duration of the assignment will be 04 months (may be extended depending on pre-feasibility study conclusions)
