IT TECHNICIAN – NAMFISA

JOB PURPOSE:
The purpose of this job is to install and/or maintain
computer hardware, software and network for the
Authority.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade ICT
client devices;
• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade
hardware and software on computer equipment
and peripherals;
• Install, configure and monitor network equipment
and peripherals;
• Account for all installations, configurations and
upgrades on computer equipment, peripherals
and network equipment;
• Provide support and Tier I technical assistance
on computer, network and peripheral related
issues to users;
• Educate and train users, and recommend users
for appropriate training;
• Carry out technical instructions from functional
and technical supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• A Diploma in Information Technology with
Systems Administration and Networks as
specializations;
• Three (3) years’ proven experience as an IT
Technician;
• MCSA/MCSE certification will be an advantage.
