IT Risk & Advisory Consultant – EY Namibia – Windhoek, Namibia 1408 views

As one of our information technology risk and assurance professionals, you will work with clients to improve the competitive advantage of their IT operations by enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. You will help them create and implement processes to identify risks associated with running their systems and find ways to manage those risks

Therefore, IT Risk and Assurance professionals with the following skills and qualifications:

ability to perform IT Audits, the reviews of general IT
controls and application controls;
ability to report findings at the appropriate levels of management;
ability to understand the relationship between the risk and the control;
able to comprehend complex business process quickly;
provide insights for remediation and value add
comments to address IT control weakness;
able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
excellent project management skills;
excellent written and verbal communication skills;
a dedication to teamwork and leadership;
be proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint;
have in-depth knowledge of various IT infrastructure,
applications (such as SAP) and operating systems (such as Windows and UNIX);
an IT degree or diploma from a reputable tertiary institution;
a minimum of one year’s experience in a IT risk advisory service line in a reputable professional service firm for the position of ITRA Associate will be an added advantage;
