Key Responsibilities

• Establish clear communication channels, reporting structures, and daily operational routines
• Enforce adherence to internal processes, service standards, and response times
• Act as the single point of accountability between technicians and management
• Manage technician performance, discipline, and workload allocation
• Resolve internal conflicts and eliminate communication breakdowns
• Introduce structure: job cards, escalation paths, documentation, and feedback loops
• Ensure technicians report progress, issues, and delays proactively
• Proven experience managing and disciplining technical staff
• Comfortable enforcing rules, deadlines, and accountability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate under pressure and make firm decisions

Requirements

• Proven experience in an IT technician or support role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux systems, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and data protection.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under pressure.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Ubiquiti/Unifi) are a plus.
