What kind of specific works are expected under the 'Olufuko Festival Works' quotation?
The 'Olufuko Festival Works' likely encompasses a range of temporary infrastructure tasks, such as stage construction, stall setup, electrical installations, sanitation facilities, or general site preparation and maintenance. Bidders should review the official tender document for the detailed scope of services required for the festival's duration.
What qualifications or registrations are essential for a company or individual to submit a successful quotation?
Bidders typically need to demonstrate relevant trade experience, valid business registration with the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade, and potentially specific trade certifications relevant to the works being quoted. Financial good standing and previous successful project references are often also key requirements.
What is the typical process for submitting a quotation to the Outapi Town Council for these types of works?
The process generally involves acquiring the official bidding documents from the Outapi Town Council, which outline all requirements, specifications, and deadlines. Quotations must then be prepared strictly according to these guidelines, including all necessary supporting documentation, and submitted by the specified closing date and time.
What kind of local expectations or operational standards should a contractor be aware of when working with the Outapi Town Council?
Contractors are expected to adhere strictly to agreed timelines and quality standards, maintaining open communication with the Town Council's project contact. Compliance with Namibian labour laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards is paramount throughout the execution of the works.
What factors does the Outapi Town Council prioritize when evaluating submitted quotations for festival works?
Evaluation criteria typically include the bidder's relevant experience, proposed methodology, technical capacity, and adherence to specifications, alongside the competitiveness of the proposed price. The council also considers the bidder's reputation, financial stability, and ability to meet strict festival deadlines.
