INTERNAL AUDITOR – WINDHOEK

• Responsible for all internal audit project management activities
• Performing the full internal audit cycle
• Plan and develop risk-based annual audit plans
• Design internal audit procedures and work programs
• Apply regulatory and corporate governance expectations of internal audit functions
• Evaluate and assess business processes and objectives, determine key controls, risks and exposures
• Improve operations and ensure compliance with regulations
• Build trusting relationships and improve credibility and quality of audit outputs by achieving objectives
• Assess and improve the effectiveness of the control, risk management and governance processes
• Prepare audit reports
• Adhere to Namcode principles and Internal Auditing Standards
• Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls
• Act as advisor when conferring with management on issues such as monitoring techniques, risk management and internal controls
• Provide training to branch/department employees on issues found
• Required to travel from time to time

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Auditing
• Preferable two years financial/banking industry experience
• Experience in engaging with all levels of management
• Computer literate
• Namibian citizen
• Must have traceable references
