To add value and improve the Company’s Operations by helping to accomplish its objectives
in bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of
Risk Management. Control and Governance processes and mitigate the Risks.

Job Description:

• Evaluate design & effectiveness of the compliance function.
• Auditing of management areas to evaluate internal control system.
• Follow-up on significant and critical findings from previous audit.
• Assist in the review of internal administrative & accounting controls to safeguard resources.
• Evaluate and ensure compliance with laws & regulations.
• Assist in the manual & automated system design as an advisor on internal controls.
• Assist in identifying red flags for investigating of potential fraud.
• Recommendations for control weakness to prevent or detect loss from occurring.
• Assist in providing guidance to departments & employees on policy & procedures. ,
• Assist in monitoring high-risk areas’ implementation of their plans by testing transactions^ and reviewing procedures.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good understanding of Corporate Governance, Ethics, and Integrity.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented & well organized.
• Computer literacy in Word & Excel.
• Good communication skills.
• Report-writing skills.
• Time-management skills.

Job Requirements:

• Three (3) year Internal Audit, Accounting & Finance or Risk Management qualification.
• Member of HA Namibia/South Africa would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years Internal Audit experience.
• Understanding of professional practice framework for Internal Auditors.
• No criminal or ITC record.
• Namibian Citizen.
