INTERNAL AUDITOR – Agribank

Department: Office of the Chief Executive Officer
Duty Station: Head Office
Contract: Permanent

Purpose of the Position
Reporting to Senior Internal Auditor, the incumbent will be responsible to provide
independent assurance that the Bank’s risk management, governance and internal
control processes are operating effectively.

Key Performance Areas
• Drafting Internal Audit Plan and Audit programme
• Conduct and review specific systems, investigative and ad hoc audits.
• Assess interdependent processes/procedures and make recommendations.
• Internal Audit service levels and efficiencies
• Provide internal audit advice, reports, information, and recommendations.
• Perform internal audit administrative services.

Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience Requirements
• Degree in Internal Audit, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Computer Science, or
related qualifications.
• Postgraduate in internal Auditing, or any other certifications such as CIA, CISA,
CFE & CRMA will be added advantage.
• Four (4) years working experience in Internal Auditing or Information Technology
Auditing or Business Analysis of which 1 year should be in a more independent
role.
• Membership to the Institute of Internal Auditors and/or recognized professional
bodies.
• A valid driver’s license.
