INTERACTIVE DESIGNER
Paterson Grade: B5
Duty Station: Windhoek

Job Purpose

To design, develop, maintain and manage software and resources as well as engage customers for retail, corporate and banking sector and Synergi internal and external clients.

Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience
• Advanced abilities in Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Aftereffects & Adobe Illustrator.
• 4‐year bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Digital Design.
• Grade 12 plus 7 years’ experience in design, preferred in print and digital design.
• Computer literate ‐ have experience and sound knowledge of standard layout programs such as Adobe
Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, etc.
• Driver’s License.

• Self motivation and a passion for the digital animation and design industry is essential.

• An aptitude in HTML coding.
• Ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi‐task.

Key Performance Areas

• 2D & 3D Animations.
• Creation of (animated) Infographics.
• Able to work with Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator files.
• High understanding of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• General computer literacy, including experience with common operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOs) and productivity tools.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Involved in all aspects of the teams’ development process, including stand‐ups, meetings, critiques and reviews.
• Animate to existing After Effects files.
• Collaborating with the client and production team members to understand needs, review scripts, design storyboards, and create and edit animations.
