To survey and capture municipal infrastructure and cadastral data on the Geographic Information System (GIS) and the Computer Aided Draughting System (CAD). Provide GIS/CAD related information to he public. Survey and update the infrastructure and cadastral data. Generate maps rom the GIS/CAD as required

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Three Years National Diploma: Information Technology/Geographical Information Systems. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: A minimum period of three (3) years relevant ICT experience (GIS & CAD). LEGAL REQUIREMENT: Drivers License – Code B/BE. PRE-APPOINTMENT TRAINING AS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE: GIS/CAD Training, (B Tech GIS or Survey is preferred), ITIL, COBIT KNOWLEDGE: Cadastral experience. Roads design, Drainage regulations, Building Regulations, technical draughting knowledge, AutoCAD map, AutoCAD Revit ArcView, Munsys, Oracle. SKILLS: Computer literate, technical, must understand drawings, CAD/GIS environment and communication skills.
