High-end Senior Retail Manager – Jewellery

Qualifications And Skills Required:

• High level of customer service and excellent writing and verbal skills;
• People management;
• Communication, adaptability and resilience, as well as a good team player;
• Self-motivation and motivation of others, leadership and communication skills;
• Commercial acumen;
• Problem solving, proactivity and eye for detail, always focusing on improvement of systems;
• IT proficient and understand of modern technology, Excel, databases, Microsoft and Google apps, POS systems, etc.;

Required Experience

• Previous High-end Experience on a management level for at least 3 years;
• Previous experience effectively managing a sales team;
• Previous experience in exceptional customer service;
• Experience in a work environment where high emphasis is placed on customer service, product presentation and commercial management

Sales Management

• Maximise contribution by achieving sales budgets and controlling costs;
• Analyse sales figures and forecasting of sales and costs;
• Analyse, interpret and communicate trends to facilitate planning;
• Deal with sales and support team in transactions, whenever needed and especially on large transactions and VIP customers;
• Banking – Petty Cash management and cash paid into the Bank in the correct currency, keeping records and tracks
• Assure daily register is operated correctly in the POS system and all orders processed accurately.
• Maintain integrity of all data processed on all systems, to assure accurate reports are generates, including correct price files, cost prices, conversion rates, taxes, etc
• Assure all reports are completed in a timely manner (daily reports, monthly reports, weekly reports, monthly VAT statements as needed, etc.

People Management

• Assure Rosters are completed every Sunday for the next 4 weeks, providing even cover during all periods of the day based on business needs, especially weekends and public holidays;
• Organise the content and frequency of staff training to assure they deliver the highest possible levels of customer service and performance;
• Responsible for management of time and attendance, inclusive of lateness, pending days, sick leave and annual leave;
• Responsible for adherence within the Store/Outlets of all company policies and procedures, as per contracts, policies and procedures manual;
• Support on providing feedback to improve procedures;
• Responsible within the store for health and safety compliance;

Customer Service

• Respond to customer complaints and comments in a timely manager, via email, phone or in person, as needed to provide the best possible experience;
• Supervise and assure the services offered are delivered in the most effective way, including
• Repairs:
• Tracking all repairs;
• Silver Cleaning process

ORDERS, STOCK CONTROL AND LOSS PREVENTION

• Place orders of stock when needed, based on performance and displays requirements, within budgets and previous approval from HO
• Make sure best-selling items are never out of stock and are replenished on a timely manner;
• Place orders of all needed stationery with London, in a timely manager, for the Store/Outlets;
• Place order of all needed supplies, in line with budget and cost controlling measures;
• Assure Stock takes are completed monthly for the Store and outlets, as well as raising any issues with discrepancies or stock missing;
• Oversee the transit of stock in between Store and Outlets, assuring all is correctly processed and accounted on the Systems;

 

DISPLAYS AND STANDARDS

Manage the Store/Outlets presentation including cleanliness of the whole store, inside and out, including Windows, visual merchandising and displays to be reflective of the brand
