Primary purpose of position

To represent NamPost payments and manage the entire payment solutions end to end, including strategic direction, business cases, digital payments channels, merchant acquiring, card acquisition and issuing of products, profit and loss management and development of new payments / digital products and services that will create increased market share and address / support NamPost strategic objectives.

Educational and experience requirements

• A banking related, business or commerce degree with 7 years’ experience in banking operations, payments or digital channels related experience at a management level with divisional responsibility.
• Experience in the Namibian Payment System i.e. The exchange of payment instructions between the payer’s bank and the payee’s bank (or their agent), which results in the calculation of payment obligations between system participants.
• Must have experience working within the NPCH (Namibian Payment Clearing House).
