Opportunity | Duty Description
The Head of Treasury is responsible for managing the Assets and Liabilities, forecasting future inflows and outflows. The Head of Treasury is responsible to manage money market, forex and capital market investments according to Bank strategy, as well as promote and develop correspondent banking relationships, either nationally or internationally.
Responsibilities
Assist in formulating the liquidity strategies and support with necessary means
Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
Manage Forex, Money Market and Capital Market investments
National and International correspondents
Develop, implement, control treasury, exchange position, relationships with multiple stakeholders
Propose, implement and control limits of exposure to market risk, counterparty risk and forex risk and periodic evaluation
Responsible for ALCO management and presentation
Manage records and processes
Oversee the financial affairs of the organisation and ensure they are legal, constitutional and within accepted accounting practices
Evaluating the fiscal decisions of the organisation

Requirements
BCom Finance
MBA will be an advantage
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience and management experience
ACI Dealers Certificate, ACI Operations Certificate (back office) are a prerequisite
Proven knowledge of foreign and local money markets
Good financial analysis skills
Knowledge on banking systems and processes
Proven working knowledge of the banking industry rules and regulations
Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable
