The Namibia Training Authority la Inviting applications for the following position

HEAD OF TRAINING (GRADE D4) (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)

Duty Station: Valombola VTC (WTC)

Reporting to: Centre Manager

Purpose: To manage the efficient delivery of all institutional training at the VTC. including professional development of VET trainers; ensure relevance and quality of training programmes; lead departmental strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting; and oversee the review of policies/procedures.

Key Performance Areas

Management of career programs (e.g. workshop, classroom, apprentice scheme, and assessment);
Quality assurance of teaching and learning;
Professional development of VET Trainers;
Orientation program;
Administration;
Curriculum development and implementation, and staff management

Qualifications and Experience

Relevant Bachelor Degree at NQF Level 7, or an equivalent qualification; and
Seven (7) years relevant technical and industry experience of which (3) years in a supervisory capacity.
