Position

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Academic Affairs to oversee and lead our academic operations. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in curriculum development, faculty leadership, academic policy implementation, and quality assurance, while supporting student enrolment growth and institutional innovation.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

• Oversee academic operations and curriculum development

• Lead and coordinate academic and teaching staff

• Implement and monitor academic policies and accreditation standards

• Drive initiatives to enhance teaching and learning quality

• Support marketing and student enrolment initiatives

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote academic innovation

 

 

Competence and qualifications

 

 

• Strong leadership and academic management skills

• Expertise in curriculum design, academic policy, and accreditation processes

• Strategic thinking and sound decision-making abilities

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance

• Experience in staff development and innovative teaching practices

• Minimum Honours Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Higher Education Administration, Business Management, or related field

• A master’s Degree is an added advantage

• Previous senior academic administrative experience preferred

• Proficiency in educational technologies and digital tools
