What would your main duties entail?

1. Controlling and directing the food preparation
2. Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer
2. Managing and working closely with cookhands of all levels.
3. Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality
4. Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
5. Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
6. Being responsible for health and safety
7. Conducting on the job training in house.
8. Cost control
