Job Title: Haul Trucks Operators Required

Number of positions: (12) | External

Division: Load and Haul (Rossing Site)

Purpose of the Job: To operate a Hauling Truck in the open pit at BMTS in a safe and productive manner, to achieve the required production targets safely, at the required quality and with due regards to the environment.

Key Performance Areas:

• • Safe and efficient operation of Haul Trucks to achieve production targets.

  • Ability to conduct pre-start inspections and report defects promptly.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive work attitude.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications: Grade 10 with 20 points (Grade 12 will be added advantage), Code C or higher driver’s license is compulsory, Valid Haul Truck Operator Certificate or recognized competency from an accredited training provider, Valid Code of Conduct

Experience: 2 years or more of practical experience operating Haul Trucks in an open pit mining environment

Knowledge and Skills: Read and write skills, Sound understanding of mine safety standards, procedures and regulations, Physically fit and medically cleared for mining operations, Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as operationally required.
