Group Human Resources Manager-Transworld Cargo (Pty) Ltd 

Transworld Cargo (Pty) Ltd is a leading Namibian forwarding company with its head office in Windhoek. We are seeking to recruit a vibrant candidate to fill the position of Group Human Resources Manager at our Windhoek head office to manage the Human Resources department of Transworld Group. The candidate should be committed to actively advancing Human Resources initiatives and systems, have a thorough understanding of the relevant labour legislation and excellent interpersonal skills.
Job specifications
• Manage the development and implementation of any Human Resources Department initiatives
• Upload and maintain employee records of current and new employees on SAGE/VIP
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
• Establish healthy and well-functioning relationships with the most important Government Institutes such as, but not limited to, Social Security Commission, Employment Equity department and Offices of the Labour Commissioner
• Establish healthy and well-functioning relationships with 3rd parties such as, but not limited to Pension Fund, Medical Aid, Health and Wellness Programs
Requirements
• At least 4 years tertiary Human Resources qualification or similar from a recognized institution
• At least 5 years experience as a Human Resources Manager
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English; German language skills advantageous
• Knowledge of various Human Resource practices and principles
• Working knowledge of Namibian Labour Legislation; Botswana and South Africa advantageous
• Demonstrate people management competencies
• Advanced knowledge of Office packages and proven track record in use thereof
• Ability to independently practice new HR related IT systems
• Self-driven and motivated
• Excellent interpersonal, emotional intelligence and communication skills
• Time Management and high degree of integrity and initiative
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
• Willingness to learn, grow and advance professionally
