• Group Cashbook Controller

Skills and competencies:
• Senior certificate (Grade 12)
• Diploma in accounting or finance, or relevant experience in similar field
• Computer literate
• Deadline orientated and Disciplined approach
• Able to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy while handling high volume transactions
• Ability to work independently and in a team-orientated environment
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Experience in dealer management systems (e.g. Evolve) will be an advantage

Job Specification:
• Performing day-to-day transactions, incl verifying, classifying & recording receipts & pay¬ments.
• Reconcile bank accounts with associated cashbooks within the group
• Process and reconcile daily cash-up of cashiers
• Clear and reconcile Parts-, Workshop- and Cash Control accounts
• Accurate posting of journals
• Handle queries with respective bank and branches
• Obtaining and following up on documentation required for outgoing & incoming funds in ac-cordance with banking regulations
• Maintain proper filing and record retention and Provide administrative support
• Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor, as and when required
