Our company is seeking reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious General Workers to join our operations team in Walvis Bay. The successful candidates will assist with the day-to-day activities of the depot, ensuring a clean, safe and efficient working environment while supporting operational and fleet requirements. This position involves working in an active logistics and transport depot. Successful candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with general depot housekeeping and maintenance.
Load, offload and secure goods as instructed.
Clean vehicles, equipment and operational work areas.
Assist with the inspection and preparation of vehicles and equipment.
Support Fleet Controllers and Drivers with operational tasks as required.
Handle, move and store materials safely and correctly.
Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean and in good working conditions.
Report unsafe conditions, hazards or damaged equipment to supervisors.
Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety requirements.
Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Grade 10 or equivalent (Grade 12 will be an advantage).
Previous experience in a logistics, transport, warehouse or depot environment will be advantageous.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when operationally required.
Medically fit.
Sober habits.
Reliable and punctual.
