GENERAL MANAGER: CORPORATE SERVICES & HUMAN CAPITAL
(Paterson E3 Band)
Remuneration & Benefits: Minimum (N$797 736.00 – Maximum N$1 079 290.00)
Market related salary package, Medical Aid, Pension Fund, Housing Allowance/Subsidy, Motor Vehicle Allowance, 35 m3 free water per
month and 35 working days leave per annum.
Purpose of job: Strategically plan, monitor and direct the Swakopmund Municipality (SM) Corporate Services and Human Capital Divisions
to promote and establish future land and housing development of Swakopmund, provide efficient services to the entire community and a
value-adding Human Capital Services to the Swakopmund Municipality. Direct ICT and social media platforms.
Key Performance areas: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Senior Level General and Strategic Business Management;
Strategically align the Corporate Services and HC Department;
Policy Development and Compliance;
Operational Management: Corporate Services and Human Capital;
Technical Support and Stakeholder Engagement;
Reporting, Budget Preparation, Control and Administration;
Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHSM) at the Workplace.
Requirements: Applicants should have Grade 12 (pass mark of 20 points over 5 subjects which must include an E symbol in
English); a Bachelor’s or Bachelor of Technology Degree in Business Administration/Public Administration or equivalent; Seven (7) years
Business administration/public administration experience of which five (5) years must be in managerial leadership capacity; a unexpired
Code B Driver’s Licence.
