Purpose of this role: To carry out aisle duties, assist cashiers with ban codes and customer service.

General Assistant

| Job specifications/responsibilities will include the following:

• Assist with off-loading and on-loading of trucks
• Assist with customer delivery preparations
• Speedy response to customer requests for assistance.
• Effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
• Approach customers in the store to establish if they need assistance
• Through knowledge of products in the store
• Ensure respectful behavior with colleagues and customers at all times
• Ensure a neat and tidy work space at all times
• Follow all ad hoc requests from your supervisor including but not limited to picking up litter, cleaning the floor, clean counters etc.
• Minimize shrinkage and breakages
• Demonstrate consistent application of internal policies and procedures
• Handle stock carefully
• Adhere to all safety regulations at all times.

• Report any unsafe conditions and practices to management immediately

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 or similar qualification.
• Experience in in-store support in a similar environment or a related role.
• Excellent customer service
