The Dealer is responsible for delivering a professional, secure, and engaging gaming experience by operating table games in accordance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and service standards. The role involves managing gaming tables, handling chips and payouts accurately, monitoring game activity, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring compliance with all gaming regulations. The Dealer provides exceptional and entertaining guest service, creating a welcoming and enjoyable gaming environment while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Deal table games (e.g., Blackjack, Poker, Roulette) in accordance with company procedures and operational standards.
- Prepare, open, operate, and close gaming tables, ensuring accurate float management, payouts, transactions, and game security.
- Monitor game play, table activity, and player participation, reporting irregularities, disputes, suspicious activities, or compliance concerns.
- Deliver professional, engaging, and accurate customer service while maintaining game pace and operational efficiency.
- Accurately complete all gaming, player tracking, and operational documentation and system records.
- Maintain effective communication with Gaming Management, Surveillance, and supporting departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Coach and support Trainee Dealers through on-the-job training and performance guidance where required.
- Provide exceptional guest experiences by building positive relationships, responding to queries, and promoting loyalty programs and promotions.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance, teamwork, and personal performance.
- Comply with all gaming legislation, regulatory requirements, internal controls, company policies, and Minor Hotels compliance standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Senior Secondary Certificate or equivalent
- Relevant table games dealing experience
- Valid Key Employee Licence (Gaming Board of Namibia)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent mental arithmetic and numerical accuracy
- Sound understanding of gaming operations, regulations, and Internal Control Standards (ICS)
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Professional appearance and presentation standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
