Fundraising Development Manager – Especially Namibian Trust – Windhoek, Namibia

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German
• 5+ years of work experience related to social/community development and donor relations; specific to orphanages
• Experience in new and existing fundraising disciplines and donor networks
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to influence and engage German donors and build long-term relationships
• Excellent marketing and project management skills
• Exceptional understanding of philanthropy in relation with the NGO
• Wide and deep knowledge of fundamental disciplines of resource development
• Prior experience in a database management as well as knowledge of CRM database required
• Advanced computer literacy and expert proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Human Developmental stages and critical understanding of human psychology
• Be a holder of a valid driver’s license

Key Performance Areas:
• Design, document, and implement a systematic and integrated donor relations program.
• Establish and manage information tracking processes regarding on-going communications and continued cultivation of past and current donors and members to enhance their relationship with Especially Namibian Trust and increase the likelihood of continued contributions
• Discover donor companies’ corporate social responsibility and identify opportunities the mission statement
• Monthly monitoring and reporting of evaluation systems
• Oversee the management of digital marketing, driving traffic and conversion through SEC and Google Grant Management
• Oversee and direct all media relations, social media communication, media production and general branding in support of donor campaigns
• Develop and implement a comprehensive written annual resource
development plan with strategies for donors in Germany
