Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in production, cold storage, and warehouse areas.
Load and unload fish products, packaging materials, and equipment.
Transport goods between processing, storage, and dispatch areas.
Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely.
Assist with stock counts and inventory control when required.
Adhere to company health, safety, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
Valid Forklift Operator Certificate/License.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a forklift, preferably in a fishing, seafood processing, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
Knowledge of warehouse and cold storage operations will be an advantage.
Good understanding of workplace safety procedures.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to safety.

Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
