We are looking for a dynamic, proactive Floor Manager for MAERUA SUPERSPAR, who will support the store with day-to-day operations. This role oversees floor activities, manages stock levels, quality and pricing, while ensuring strong staff performance and customer satisfaction. The role requires solid operational insight to identify risks, gaps and opportunities that enhance overall store profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Manage departmental targets and profitability
Manage all stock functions: control ordering, maintaining stock levels/range, ensure rotation and more
Manage Pricing and POS accuracy
Maintain and ensure strict hygiene and housekeeping standards
Maintain and ensure strict Health & Safety procedures
Manage staff functions like recruitment, training, shifts, ensuring discipline
Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout
Store opening and closing duties

Requirements

Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
Tertiary qualifications in Retail, alternatively minimum of 4 years experience in Retail Management
Experience with SIGMA system of advantage
Computer literate / strong organizational skills required
Staff management experience
Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
Needs to work every second weekend
Willingness to work additional hours if required
A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
Driver’s license of advantage
