Opportunity | Duty Description

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To Manage the allocated Finance Functions in order to support the business in all aspects, and to execute the financial functions according to sound financial principles, legal requirements and to the satisfaction of Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse and report financial performance against budget
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of postings
• Supervise inventory function and investigate variances
• Maintain fixed Asset Register
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
• Submitting all import VAT and VAT returns and ensure payments are made timeously
• Complete half-year and year-end packs
• Execute any other duties assigned

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Attentive to detail, analytical, pro-active
• Maintain confidentiality
• Team Player
• SAP would be an advantage
• Excellent planning and organizing skills
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will be having a relevant Accounting Degree with 4 (four) years’ relevant experience.
