Primary Role : The Provision and maintenance of accurate financial records and quality support financial services
to the programme managers to contribute to the achievements of the targets in the fights against
HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Requirements
• An appropriate Diploma at NQF L6 (or equivalent) majoring in accounting with three (3) years’
working experience in the field of accounting and finance.
• Preference will be given to applicants with Post Graduate Studies in Accounting and/or
Finance completed or close to complete
Key Performance Areas
(KPAs)
• Maintain all financial records of the MoHSS SRs on to the pastel accounting system or Oracle
Fusion.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations as a tool to monitor movement of funds
• Process payments to suppliers in line with the MoHSS/Global Fund finance policies and
procedures.
• Monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to the budget and work plans.
• Compile VAT returns and oversee payments of payroll statutory taxes.
• Assist the Finance Manager to institute effective control systems required to mitigate risks
inherent to the programs.
• Work with the Asset Controller to compile and update the Non-current Assets Register
