PURPOSE

To oversee departmental functions of finance, IT and procurement efficient And effective accounting of income, control of expenditures and accuracy and integrity of financial information to support operational needs of Gobabis municipality.

REPORTING LINE 

SE: Finance. IT and Procurement

DUTY STATION: Gobabis Municipality

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Debt Management
• Cash management and statement of accounts
• Controlling of Wing and revenue collection
• Cost rig and budgeting statement
• financial Statements Preparation
• Value Added Tax (VAT), VAT Import returns, PAYE and VET Levy
• Manages at Municipal Council progeny is transactions and functions
• Financial Reporting

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Degree In Accounting and Finance or equivalent qualification on NOF Level 7
• 5 years’ experience In relevant filed of work, al which 3 years should have been in a supervised)/ mike
• Knowledge and use of software programs for capturing  financial statements and reports
