Finance Manager

• Seven to Ten years’ experience in Financial management position with ttxec yean being in construction industry.
• Welt-versed with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS).
• Knowledge of Construction and Accounting Packages (Buildsmart added advantage)
• Knowledge of Payroll Processing Packages
• Working Knowledge of Contract Law and Tax legislation
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word. Excel. Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Must have a strong accounting background
• Must be analytical, attentive to detail, a self-starter and ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting financial and business risk assessments on the viatx’ity of both new and existing construction projects.
• Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports of the company i.e. monthly management reports, quarterly board packs and annual financial statements.
• Directs the processing, maintenance and quality of financial records and controls.
• Directs and participates in cost analyses, analysing financial records such as income, expenditure and profitabBity trends os well os evaluating company performance against budgets and set targets.
• Coordinates budgets and forecasts as well as contributes to the overal company strategy.
• Manage cash flow and cosh flow forecasts of the company.
• Maintain and process the executive payroll of the company.
• Providing technical assistance as well as tax legislative & statutory requirements and Boising with key stakeholders.
• Coordinates the submission of statutory returns and liaison with relevant government ministry.
• Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to
• improve existing systems.
• Preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
• Reviews financial statements and discusses audit findings with management.
• Leads the professional development and mentoring of the accounting team.
