ROLE PROFILE

This role will support the business through insightful analysis and constructive challenge in order to drive business performance and maximize sustainable return to shareholders within a robust governance framework.

ACCOUNTABILITIES Key accountabilities for this role include but are not restricted to:

Business Decision Support 
•  Deliver robust financial analysis
•  Generate business insights through the use of analytical skills to build a deep understanding of the business and the market

Internal Customer Support 
•  Develop internal customer commercial competence to facilitate good decision making
•  Add value to the business through partnering with internal customers to ensure understanding of their challenges and assist in overcoming them.

Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Administration and Statutory Obligation 
•  Develop and Manage the company budget
•  Co-ordinate company financial information for reporting purposes
•  Manage and coordinate internal and external audits
•  Manage corporate tax planning and compliance

People Management 
•  Lead and manage people
 

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• ​Member of the appropriate professional body
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience at Finance Manager level
• Previous senior experience in the FMCG environment
• Excellent track record of delivering results
• Strong treasury experience

• Strong Analytical skills
• Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to deliver results within a fast paced environment
• Must be a committed team player with the ability to work to extremely tight deadlines
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial competencies
• Good Communication skills and ability to communicate at the highest level and build internal and external relationships quickly
• Strong coaching skills
