General Areas of Competence and tasks to fulfil local gap requirements.
A. Plan production per planting blocks
B. Establish the nursery
C. Care for plants till harvest
D. Maintain the irrigation system
E. Operate irrigation systems
F. Operate irrigation systems

KNOWLEDGE embedded.
Awareness and understanding of Suitable plant species:
Basic plant biology (incl. Basic plant nutrient requirements)
Plant pest, diseases, and disorders
Basic pest and disease management
Greenhouse and Protected cropping

SKILLS
• Recognize pest and diseases.
• Application of plant protection products
• Application of plant nutrients and soil amendments

ATTITUDE
• Willing to follow scheduled instructions.
• Give appropriate treatment at the right time as instructed.
• Work in a team
• Enjoy practical work.
