Primary purpose of position

To assist in and contribute to the development, consistent refinement and optimisation of Enterprise-wide .Risk Management services and support with an emphasis on NamPost group-wide all-encompassing GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) operational follow-through of services. To manage an effective balance at the operational implementation level of internal ERM services, alignment of these services with legal, compliance, internal audit and technology and complementary external services, based on agreed industry best

practices and derived benchmarks, as well as in close coordination with the Executive.

Educational and experience requirements

At least 3 preferably 4 years academic or equivalent post-schooling qualifications(s), and a Masters’ Degree in Banking, Finance, Law, Risk management or related qualification would be a definite advantage with at least a total of 6 years risk management experience of which at least 3 years in the banking or financial services industry and at least 2 years at managerial/specialist level within a significant risk management or related function.
