Engineering Foreman

Position Overview:
As the Engineering Foreman at Uis Tin Mining Company, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating engineering activities in the mining and processing areas. You will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engineering Projects: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects within the mining and processing areas.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance mentoring and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry best practices in all engineering activities.
• Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repairs of mining equipment and machinery.
• Cost Control: Monitor and manage engineering project budgets, identifying cost-effective solutions and minimizing expenditures.
• Technical Support: Provide technical supportand expertise to operationalteams, assisting with equipment upgrades, process improvements, and troubleshooting.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and project reports for internal and external reporting requirements.
• Environmental Responsibility: Implement environmentally responsible engineering practices, minimizing the impact on ecosystems and habitats.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various departments, including operations, safety, and environmental teams, to ensure integrated solutions and effective communication.
Training and Development: Foster professional growth within the engineering team, providing opportunities for skill development and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. preferably in Mining. Mechanical, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years’ of experience in engineering roles, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of mining equipment, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
