Electrical Assistant, Patterson Grade B4: Ongwediva

Main Purpose of the position:

To provide electrical assistance to the construction electrician by performing the Medium voltage and Low Voltage installations and repair duties with regard to electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment as assigned.

Key Performance Areas

• Installation, erecting of overhead power lines duties
• Planned and unplanned maintenance activities
• Customer liaison
• Staff supervision

Minimum Educational Qualifications and experience:

• Grade 10 with / 12 with 20 points and E or better symbol in English
• Level 1/2 Trade diploma In Electrical General
• 3 years in basic electrical work which included the use electrical tools.
• Crane Operation certificate / experience will be an advantage

Special Requirements

• Driving license code BE or C1 Driver’s license with a GP
• Code CE will be an advantage
