E-COMMERCE SPECIALIST – HEAD OFFICE – CYMOT (Pty) Ltd

Employers typically look for a diploma or degree in marketing, information technology, business administration, or a related field. Practical certifications in platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Google Analytics can strengthen your application even without a formal degree.

You would usually manage product listings, update website content, monitor online orders, and coordinate with warehouse or sales teams to ensure smooth fulfilment. Daily tasks also include tracking website performance, running online promotions, and resolving customer queries related to the online store.

Namibian head office environments tend to value reliability, clear communication, and the ability to work independently while supporting a small team. You are expected to be proactive, meet deadlines, and adapt to local market conditions such as varying internet connectivity and delivery logistics.

With experience, you can grow into roles such as E-Commerce Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, or Head of Online Sales. Progression often depends on your ability to increase online revenue, improve customer experience, and take on more strategic responsibilities.

Most formal employers in Namibia offer benefits such as annual leave, sick leave, medical aid contributions, and pension or provident fund membership. Some companies may also include a cellphone allowance or performance-based incentives, but this varies by employer.

Submit a concise CV and a tailored cover letter through the employer's official application channel, often by email or an online portal. Namibian employers look for practical experience with online selling platforms, attention to detail, and proof that you can manage an online store with minimal supervision.
