DRIVER TRAINER – Africa Personnel Services

DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a competent, experienced, and skilled CE driver trainer for APS

Operational Responsibilities

Train truck drivers on a variety of essential driver skills
Driver health and safety compliance/adherence
Train new CE drivers on heavy vehicles >16 000kg

REQUIREMENTS

Thorough knowledge of all aspects of Heavy vehicles
Must be able to provide proof of being self-driven (no need for prompting to engage with the task at hand), responsible, punctual, and professional conduct
Excellent Communication skills (ability to simplify and clarify)
Microsoft Office experience (Word and Excel) is essential
Any other fluency in any other language will be an advantage

Minimum Requirements

Minimum grade 12 certificate
Any logistics-related qualification will be an advantage
Minimum 10 years experience as a driver
CE driver’s license with a valid PDP
Driver trainer certificate through an accredited institution (i.e. NOSA)
Health and safety certification
Defensive driver training
Any other relevant driver training competence will be an advantage
Namibian Citizens will get a preference.
Must be able to operate both automatic and manual truck
Be flexible and able to work as part of a team in Namibia and work in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana
