Driver – Forklift

You will operate the forklift and use it to transfer items in a well-organized manner to make workflow more efficient and increase productivity. It is important to follow all health and safety regulations of the company and perform routine maintenance on the forklift to make sure it is working properly.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Daily forklift maintenance

• Loading and offloading of trucks, using a forklift

• Safe stacking of stock

• Adhere to safety regulations

• Maintain a good company image by ensuring maximum customer satisfaction through service excellence

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

• A responsible, highly motivated person who knows their way around the forklift, that is a self-starter and always prompt for work

• Must have Grade 12 and at least 3 years’ relevant experience

• In possession of a valid forklift operating certificate and Code B driver’s license
• Code C1 driver’s license will be an added advantage

• Valid Public Drivers’ Permit
• Knowledge of Forklift Safety and maintenance

• Observation and organization skills
