TCE or Total Control of the Epidemic is an HTV/AIDS project implemented by DAPP Namibia. DAPP Namibia is registered as an incorporated association not for gain since 1990 and as a welfare organization since 1992. DAPP Namibia has implemented the TCE program in Omusati, Kunene, Omaheke, Erongo, Oshana, Ohangwena, Kavango East and West, Zambezi, Karas, Hardap, Oshikoto, Otjozondjupa and Khomas regions.

DAPP TCE Otjozondjupa is hereby inviting dynamic and suitable candidates to apply for the following position on a renewal agreement, depending on the availability of the funds.

VACANCY: DRIVER X 1

Duty station: Otjozondjupa TCE

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering HIV testing materials to all the health facilities in the Otjozondjupa region.
• Distributing condoms around and all other logistics
• Handling car maintenance
• Record all trips for the car
• Assist with administrative bookings
• Drive long distances with project staff to meetings/workshops
• Organizing materials in the office store room, stock-taking of all ttypes of equipments in the office.

Minimum requirements:

• Grade 10 certificate
• Driver license – with experience of 3 years driving in an NGO (Non-governmental Organization)
• 3 years of experience in the HIV field will be an added advantage
• Passion to work in the community Non-smoking and Non-alcoholic
• 35 years old and above
• Experience in using a car log book
• Trustworthy and knowing Otjozondjupa region very well
• Clean record in driving and able to undergo driving testing
• Preference will be given to applicants from the same region.
• Namibian citizenship.
