Key Responsibilities
- DRIVER:
- Transport equipment, materials and personnel safely.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
- Complete trip sheets and vehicle inspection reports.
- FLEET SUPERVISOR:
- Manage company vehicles and equipment.
- Monitor servicing and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Supervise drivers and fleet personnel.
- Control fuel consumption and vehicle costs.
- Ensure compliance with road transport and safety regulations.
- Prepare fleet performance reports.
Requirements
- DRIVER:
- Valid Namibian CE driver’s license.
- Valid PrDP will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years’ heavy vehicle driving experience.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Physically fit and willing to travel to remote sites.
- Good communication skills.
- No serious traffic offences.
- FLEET SUPERVISOR:
- Diploma or Certificate in Fleet Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising a fleet.
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance planning.
- Experience managing drivers, fuel usage and vehicle servicing.
- Computer literacy (Excel and fleet systems).
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Valid driver’s licence.
