DRIVER: BUS – Namib Poultry (Pty) Ltd

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To ensure the safe transportation of employees to and from the workplace.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safe and timeous transporting of staff as per schedule
• Recordkeeping of Trip Details in Logbooks/ on the checklist
• Adhering to the scheduled routes
• Reporting incidents to management
• Operating within the scope of company policies and procedures
• Driving safely and responsibly, by complying with road regulations
• Ensure the Roadworthiness of the Vehicle at all times
• Perform daily Vehicle inspections, keep clean, and basic maintenance checks
• Timeous reporting on deviations or faults as required
• Maintain prescribed Hygiene, Housekeeping, and Safety Standards
• Timeous reporting, recording, and submitting of refuelling receipts (EDC)
• Carry out reasonable ad hoc tasks as given by the supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Grade 10 (NQF 2) or Grade 12 (NQF 4)
• Drivers Licence Code CE
• Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience
• Namibian citizen
• Proficient in English, being bilingual will be an advantage
• Able to work shifts, weekends, overtime, Sundays, and public holidays
