PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To ensure the safe transportation of employees to and from the workplace.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transporting of workers to and from work:

Safe transporting of workers.
Timeous transporting as per schedule.
Adhering to the scheduled routes.
Operating within the scope of company policies and procedures.
Compliance with road regulations.
Ensure that only authorised personnel make use of the Company bus services.

Ensure good condition of bus:

Perform basic maintenance checks as prescribed.
Bus to be clean as required.
Timeous reporting on deviations or faults as required.
Complete checklist prior to leaving and upon returning for each trip.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:

Grade 10 (NQF2) with 5 years’ experience.

Garde12 (NQF4) with 3 years’ experience.

OTHER

Valid CE Licence.
Valid GP.
Proficient in written and spoken English. Any additional language will be an added advantage.
Namibian Citizenship.
