Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all drainage construction activities on site
- Lead and manage labour, plant operators, and subcontractors
- Ensure installation of drainage systems (culverts, stormwater, subsoil, channels) is done according to drawings and specifications
- Check levels, gradients, and alignment of all drainage work
- Read and interpret construction drawings and set out work accordingly
- Monitor daily productivity and ensure work is completed on schedule
- Enforce health and safety standards and conduct toolbox talks
- Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with project standards
- Coordinate with site engineers, surveyors, and project management
- Manage materials and plant usage, minimizing waste
