Dispatch Clerk

·        Ensure that delivery dates and changes are communicated to relevant parties.

·        Ensure that orders are delivered within 10 working days.

·        Ensure that sales/invoicing targets are met daily.

·        Ensure that cleaning and housekeeping are done regularly.

·        Ensure that products are stored in the allocated areas.

·        Supervise dispatch employees during overtime work and implement cost-saving structures to minimize overtime work.

·        Ensure that company vehicles are clean, and that maintenance and roadworthy tests are done timeously.

·        Ensure invoicing is done timeously.

·        Ensure a safe workplace without risk to health, reporting, and problems in terms of health and safety.

·        Supervise employees to ensure work is done and targets achieved.

·        Assist with stock take.

· Must have Grade 12

· Must have a valid driver’s license (Code B)

· At least 1-year warehousing experience / Dispatch Clerk

· First aid/health and safety certificate will be advantageous

· Computer Literate

· Ability to prioritize work, work efficiently and accurately under pressure, and able to meet deadlines

· Excellent spoken and written communication skills
