Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with Regional Councils in management, administration and budgeting of Land Reform and Resettlement Programmes for the Ministry and Resettlements Regional Offices.
- Serving as a link between the Ministry, Regional Councils, Traditional Authorities and other stakeholders.
- Responsible for the management and administration of the Resettlement Programme.
- Coordinating and ensuring accurate assessment of farms offered to GRN for sale and demarcating acquired farms into farming units.
- Facilitating the implementation of Integrated Regional Land Use Plans.
- Administer all Communal Land Boards and Regional Resettlement Committees.
- Facilitating and monitoring the verification and registration of Land Rights in communal areas.
- Coordinating the investigations and resolutions of communal land disputes.
- Ensure appropriate management and administration of Group Resettlement Projects.
- Serving on National Committees established to administer land-related matters.
- Ensure the dissemination of land information to all stakeholders and the public.
- Administration of all Land Reform Regional Offices.
- Facilitating security services for resettlement farms.
- Facilitating and ensuring infrastructure development and rehabilitation on Resettlement farms.
- Facilitating the assessment of resettlement farms’ productivity and device/propose/produce mitigation measures.
- Coordinate the decentralisation on land reform functions to Regional Councils.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your supervisor and senior management.
Requirements
- A B-Degree in Land Management or Land Administration or Geo-information Management or Natural Resource Management or Agriculture on NQF Level 7 plus nine (9) appropriate years of experience, of which two (2) years of appropriate experience must be at a level of a Deputy Director Grade 4 in the government or equivalent level in the private sector.
- Candidates must have a driving licence. Preference will be given to candidates in possession of an appropriate Master’s Degree on NQF level 9 in addition to any of the above-mentioned qualifications.
Salary
Scale of salary: N$ 582 333- 617 976 per annum; Salary Notch: N$ 582 333 per annum; Housing Benefit: N$ 131 280 per annum; Motor Vehicle Allowance: N$ 94 178 per annum; Capital Cost: N$ 29 455 per annum; Running cost: N$ 29 455 per annum
