DIESEL MECHANIC (PATTERSON GRADE C2)

REMUNERATION SCALE: N$ 199 182.00

HOUSING ALLOWANCE: N$ 79 672.00 Per Annum

TRANSPORT ALLOWANCE: N$ 7 704.00 Per Annum

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To perform entry-level skilled diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including small equipment.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs, a full range of Municipal vehicles and equipment
• Operates and maintains hand, power, diagnostic, and shop tools and equipment
• Assist mechanics in determining the extent of necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Assist mechanics in maintenance work, time material, and equipment logs, and records

MINIMUM JOB:

• Grade 12 with N3 Trade Test Diesel Mechanic Diploma with Technical Subjects (Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Trade Theory and Mathematics)
• Driver’s License -Code CE
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
