DIESEL MECHANIC ASSISTANT
 Duty Requirement(s)
The position’s key performance areas are:

Perform service and repairs on trucks, trailers, and other transport equipment.

Special Requirement(s)
The suitable candidate will meet the following requirements:

A Namibian Citizen.
Must have a valid driver’s license (Preferably CE code).
Must have Grade 12.
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (trade test completed).
3 Years’ experience as a diesel mechanic in transport / automotive industry.
Must have excellent knowledge of equipment / trucks / forklifts (Mercedes Benz Actros / Steelbro Side Loaders / Kalmar / Cone Crane Reach Stackers).
Must have a valid Code of Conduct (Police Clearance Certificate) not older than 3 months.
Must have sober habits.
Must be open minded and willing to learn.
Must be computer literate, have good diagnostic ability, can work as part of a team and be able to work under pressure.
Must have excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
Must be able to cope with a demanding work life.
Have knowledge of the applicable Health & Safety Laws.
