Diagnostic Radiographer – Catheterization Laboratory

The successful candidate must have:

• Bachelor Degree of Radiography (Diagnostic).
• At least 2 years’ working experience as Radiographer in a hospital.
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of Namibia as a Radiographer.
• Namibian Citizenship.
• A disposition towards quality and excellent patient care.
• Outstanding abilities to capture image quality X-rays of superior diagnostic value.
• Ability to work independently, organize effectively and operate optimally under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Availability to perform 24/7 on-call duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Digital X-Ray Processing
• Work with patients, explain testing procedure, and put them at ease through the x-ray process.
• Fill out daily inspection reports, paperwork and documentation as required.
• Effectively perform assigned radiography tasks and interpret results of inspections.
• Ensure strict adherence to industry health guidelines as well as company radiation safety regulations.
• Demonstration of interest and focus on the achievement of the mission of Roman Catholic Hospital.
• Adherence to the guiding principles of the Roman Catholic Hospital.
